initial notes, mind mapping and sketching after first brief and ideas generation workshop – not yet in a group so developing general ideas around the key words from the brief

Joined a team with Abby Hunt and Ben Gilhooly, made a transcript of the section of audio they had chosen and had a call about what kind of imagery we could approach the message with
First two images created by Abby as initial character designs for main character and his father , third image are sketches i did to familiarise myself with the style and try out some of the imagery from my first sketches
initial movement tests i made based on first group brainstorm, shown at first client presentation as individual frames to give a visual to our annotations of the transcript
secondary character designs i developed to aid in our idea of showing support visually and to diversify the character group

in response to client feedback we revised the character designs to look older and be more stylistically cohesive
responding to client feedback on wording within our chosen section of the audio and carving out a more cohesive narrative we met as a team to revise and add to the transcript annotation and create a plan of action

Notes from second presentation, we looked over them on our own and in a tutorial the next week and decided on an alternative to the scene identified as needing work, we also figured out and communicated some transitions between our scenes so we could work on them individually going into production and they still be cohesive
